Signs are pointing to Jason and Sasha falling for each other on General Hospital. Could this be the happiness they have both needed for quite some time?
Tale As Old As Time
Years ago, Carly (Laura Wright) was pregnant and didn’t want anyone to know that the baby’s father was A.J. (Sean Kanan) so she claimed that the dad was A.J.’s brother Jason (Steve Burton). The baby is Michael (Chad Duell), who is now about to be a father for the third time. Only the mother is not his wife Willow (Katelyn McMullen), but his ex, Sasha (Sofia Mattson).
Sasha would prefer that Michael not know about the baby (this may be easy to achieve since Chad Duell is leaving GH). The next logical step would be to pretend that someone else is the father. Why not Jason?
Opposites Attract
Jason is Port Charles’ resident bad boy. Sasha is the girl who can’t catch a break. At the moment, they are both single. Plus, they both reside at the Quartermaine mansion, which has become home to half of Port Charles.
Sasha has only confided in Maxie (Kirsten Storms) about her pregnancy but has kept the baby’s father a secret. Sooner or later, she will need someone to talk to and Jason is the best listener and secret keeper in Port Charles. He is also always willing to step up and may volunteer to play house with Sasha.
Jason saved her life when she was held hostage by Sidwell (Carlo Rota), who has recently reappeared and looks to be creepily watching Sasha again. He wants to get even with Holly (Emma Samms), and her daughter is an easy target unless, of course, Jason is there to protect her. This would bring them closer.
Happily Ever After?
There is a slow spark burning between Sasha and Jason. They could be a super couple, and he would make a great dad to her baby. He is wonderful with his son Danny (Asher Antonyzyn) and will hopefully stick around for a while. This may be the pairing GH didn’t know they needed. It is time for each of them to find happiness.
But things don’t usually go so smoothly and the lies always come out. Eventually, Michael may return and the baby’s paternity could be revealed, just like A.J. found out about Michael back in the day. That’s when the drama would really begin.
